A Couple of Things...

The Yankees may not win a lot of games this year, but at least A-Rod is on pace to hit 267 home runs and 500+ RBI's. Everyone keeps saying its great that A-Rod is doing well now, but what about in the playoffs. If the Yankees keep playing the way they have the past 5 days, that won't be a concern because they won't be in the playoffs. But the baseball season is very long, so Im not quite ready to panic just yet.

I read yesterday that if Hillary Clinton is elected to be the next president that she is going to have Bill act as an "ambassador to the world". Sounds like a pretty good idea. The past 7 years haven't been so good as far as the worlds opinion of the US is concerned, so having a likable guy like Bill acting as ambassador is a pretty smart idea. And think of all the international poon Bill can get :-).

I was flipping through Rachel's copy of In Touch magazine and they had a picture of Rain Wilson and his little son. The kid is surprisingly cute, I guess he gets his looks from him mom.

I always though Alec was the "normal" Baldwin brother.

Blood Diamond is a pretty powerful film. Not sure how accurate it was, but if the senseless violence in Africa is anything like it was portrayed in the movie, man what a scary place.

Prik King is my new favorite Thai dish. It makes my nose run like a m'fer, but man is it tasty. I love green beans, so its right up my alley.

I was excited to hear that Cake is coming out with a new CD of cover songs. They are supposed to d a cover version of War Pigs by Black Sabbath. I can't imagine what a Sabbath song would sound like with a horn section, but maybe it will be good.

I've been listening to Korn Unplugged alot lately. The duet with Amy Lynn from Evanescence and the "mash up" of Make Me Bad/In Between Days with the Cure are both pretty amazing.

The LPGA has a lot of hot young women on the tour now. I thought Natalie Gulbis was the only one, but Paula Creamer, Britney Lincicome and of course Laura Davies are all very hot as well. A lot of people at work say how MIchele Wie is hot. I don't see it, she looks too much like a character from Hot Shots golf or a Japanese animation.

El Picante...OUT!!!!
