Late Show With Adam Sandler

The other night David Letterman came down with the stomach flu, so Adam Sandler hosted the show. Originally Adam was scheduled to be a guest on the show to promote his new movie Reign Over Me. The show was pretty wacky. Even though Adam Sandler looked super nervous, the show was pretty entertaining. This was one of the funnier moments. Enjoy!

Random Stuff

Jeff Goldbloom looks frightening in High Def. Damn!!!

The Comcast upgrade has finally taken effect in Dale City!!! Only been waiting for this for 5 years! Now I actually get ESPN2 and TNT in HD, along with basic channels like MTV2 that we never got before. There is also this HD music channel called Music HD which really cool. They are supposed to have a HD Red Hot Chili Peppers concert on there tonight. It's on during the Office, so it will be DVR'd. Now I just have to call tonight to find out if I can get the MLB package so I can watch Yankees games on tv instead of my laptop.

Wow this warm weather feels awesome. I actually got to stop at the driving range the last two days after work. The first day wasn't so good. Yesterday I was hitting the ball really well. Especially with my short irons. Towards the end I was hitting my hybrid 4 iron really well too. It was going about 175-180 yards in the air which is about right for me. I just don't always hit it straight like I was doing with my shorter irons. With the short irons, I was getting them very close to the flags from 150 yards and in.

LOST has been great the last two weeks. Claire looked really hot as a brunette. Kind of like Jenny McCarthy. She looks great with blond hair, but she looks like a little sex kitten with black hair. Last weeks episode looks amazing. I find John Locke to be one of the most mysterious characters on the show, glad we get an episode about him next week. The ending was too funny last night. Jack palling around with Tom was great.

I remember after Sept 11th, 2001 everyone pointed out how the news was packed with nonsense, and having something tragic happen really opened everyones eyes. I think we are back to that ridiculous levels of news coverage. More time gets spent talking about Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Anna Nicoles corpse. It's almost as bad as that stretch in the 90's where everyone was obsessed with Joey Buttafuoco, Tanya Harding and John Bobbitt.

Squilky...OUT!!!!

How well do you know US Geography?

http://www.lizardpoint.com/fun/geoquiz/usaquiz.html

I scored 146 out of 150. I had a teacher in the 5th grade that made us memorize all the states and their capitals. The capitals for a lot of states, I've forgotten, but Im still really good with the location of all the states. The ones that trip me up once in a while are New Hamphshire and Vermont and Alabama and Mississippi.

I did pretty bad on the European quiz. I knew the obvious ones like Spain, France, Germany, Sweden and Greece. But then when it got down to places like Muldova, Belarus and Slovenia, I tanked.
