Blame Game

I don't know much about the history between Palestine and Israel. But from what I've gathered by watching and reading the news is that they get along about as well as cats and dogs. Palestine wants Israel out so they can reclaim the part of Palestine that used to belong to them, that is now Israel. Palestine wants non Muslims out of the area. Israel wants Hezbollah out of Palestine.

But what I'm pretty sure about is that somehow whatever happens, it will be blamed on George W. Bush. The UN peacekeepers that were killed by an Israeli missile, that will be W's fault because he Condi didn't get the two sides to agree on a cease fire soon enough.

From what I understand and learned technically there is no Palestine. It's all Israel now. Neither want each other in what is now Israel. Israel used to be called Palestine but the Jewish people reclaimed the land because historically it was there's. The British had something to do with it. Israel as a country is only about 50 plus years old. "Palestian's" are really a people with no country. They're Arabs who came from other countries to settle in the area. Despite this fact most feel like they were wronged and so forth all this fighting. Israel would like Hezbollah to be eliminated not just out of Israel. Yes the Palestinan's if they could get the land do not want anyone who is not a Muslim. This also means Christian Arabs. It really is too sad they all can't get along.

Thanks for the explanation. As it stands it seems like a pretty lopsided fight. Israel has fighter jets and laser guided missiles, while the Lebanese (Hezbollah) seem to be using simple rockets that could land just about anywhere.

I guess that's what Hezbollah gets when they keep sending people into Israel and blowing themselves up. You know. They're a terror organization with ties to other fundamentalist muslim terror organizations. :(

Yeah I know Hezbollah is a terrorist orgnaization. And I agree with Israel wanting their kidnapped soldiers gone, and wanting Hezbollah out of Lebanon. But when Israel starts blowing up apartment and other residential areas, along with UN peacekeepers, it makes them look just as bad as Hezbollah. The number of homeless people in Lebanon is in the hundreds of thousands at this point and the bombings are getting more and more intensive as time goes on.
