Merry Christmas Yankees Fans...

The Yankees have been pretty quiet this off season thus far. The Mets have signed more big named players like Carlos Delgado than the Yankees have. So I was getting pretty bummed. Yankees have a very solid team, with some holes at catcher and most notably centerfield.

There are certain Red Sox like Curt Shilling, Manny Ramirez, Jason Varitek, and Tim Wakefield that I would never want to see wearing pinstripes. But there are occasionally a few Red Sox that emerge as being classy. They don't partake in the usual bullshit and don't try to start trouble when the Yankees are in town. Guys like Pedro, Manny and Varitek always seemed to be the antagonists who would start fights with the Yankees. Johnny Damon just went out and played his game. I never heard him make arrogant statements like Manny Ramirez. I've never seen him take cheap shots like Pedro. So I'm proud to welcome Johnny Damon to the Yankees.

Now shave that beard and cut that hair hippy!!!
