Oh Joy

Tomorrow is Take Your Daughter to Work Day. Apparantly it was started because fathers would typically only take their sons to work and left their daughters out of all the fun. While that may have been a common practice years ago, I like to think that we have progressed far enough as a society where we don't have too many dads saying "oh that's mans work, sorry pumpkin". Plus, is it any more correct to exclude boys from coming to work with their moms or dads, than it is to exclude girls from coming to work? My company happens to call it "Bring Your Kids to Work" day, which I think is probably the most correct way of doing things. Let boys and girls alike see how shitty and demoralizing office work can be.
