SOng of the week....

I guess I can thank Carlos Santana for the new Probot CD. Carlos had the great idea a few years back to team up with different vocalists for each of his songs on Supernatural. It was a great idea. One of the best, most unique CD’s I’ve ever heard. So Dave Grohl of Nirvana and Foo Fighters fame decided to follow in Carlos’ footsteps and Probot was born! Dave teams up with hard rock and heavy metal legends such as Lemme from Motorhead, Max Cavalera from Sepultura, and King Diamond to go back to his heavy metal roots. The Squilky.com song of the week is Shake Your Blood by Probot. Lemme’s gravely voice is a perfect match for the grinding guitars heard throughout this in your face tune. Probot is no replacement for Nirvana or the Foo Fighters, but it’s a nice change of pace.
